MORRIS LIBRARY CAMPAIGN
The Tom Morris Library Campaign directs your donation toward creation of a comprensive library housing the best titles on Sailing and American Sailors. Named after Maine boatbuilder Tom Morris, founder of Morris Yachts, the Morris Library will be accessible to all both in person at the National Sailing Center in Annapolis, and virtually through the website. Celebrated American Sailors Documentary Film Series
The National Sailing Hall of Fame would like to call attention through a series of documentary films to the celebrated Americas who have sailed and continue to sail. The series will be produced and narrated by Emmy Award winner Gary Jobson. The National Sailing Hall of Fame will broadband stream the series on the NSHOF web-site, will seek broadcast on PBS or ESPN, and will utilize the footage in the facility being planned for the Annapolis City Dock. Those to be featured will include Albert Einstein, John F. Kennedy, Walter Cronkite, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, George Patton, Errol Flynn, Anne Morrow Lindberg, Morgan Freeman, Gertrude Vanderbilt, Jimmy Buffett, Ted Turner, William Buckley, Gerald Ford, Steven Colbert, Christopher Reeve, David Crosby, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, among others.
