Bill Koch Match Race

bill_koch_sailing

America’s Cup winner Bill Koch loves match racing so much that he has established a land-based version – one that matches, dollar-for-dollar, your contribution to the National Sailing Center & Hall of Fame.

Before April 30, we’d like to “cover” Bill and receive the first installment of his very generous and foresighted commitment to the sport of sailing.

I hope you will accept Bill’s challenge and participate in the NSHOF Match Race today.

Bill believes in the Center's mission to raise the profile of sailing and to teach America's youth American history, science, math, environmental stewardship, art and technology through sailing.

With this challenge grant, he is taking a leadership role in shaping the direction of the campaign to create an educational center and Hall of Fame for sailing—one of the only major sports to not have a Hall of Fame. Bill made his gift with the goal of inspiring others in the business and sailing community across the country to join the effort.

I hope you will consider a special contribution of $1,000, $500 or even $250 before April 30. And, contributions of $100 or $50 are important too in building NSHOF’s base of support.  Even if you’ve contributed to NSHOF in the past, I encourage you to make a special donation at this time to double the value of your support.

You can make your contribution on-line here on this page.

If you prefer, you can download and print a mail-in contribution form that you can send in with your check.

Many thanks for your consideration.  I look forward to sharing the news of your generous commitment with Bill and to receive his match of your donation.

Sincerely,

Richard Franyo
