George David is a well-known sailor and the owner of the racing yachts Rambler. Born in 1942 in New York City, David has been passionate about sailing since he was a child. In his early twenties, David moved to Europe to pursue his passion for sailing and spent many years competing in offshore races.

In 1992, David purchased the first Rambler and began racing it in various regattas. Over the years, he made significant modifications to the boat, adding advanced technologies to make it one of the fastest racing yachts in the world. In 2007, Rambler won the prestigious Transatlantic Race, setting a new record for the fastest time ever recorded for a monohull yacht. In various Ramblers, David has set race and world records in ocean races and won numerous and prestigious trophies in round-the-buoy races over the years. Several of his records stand today.
